Digestive Disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, the effects of cancer chemotherapy treatment, AIDS wasting syndrome, intestinal diseases such as Crohn’s disease, ileitis and colitis, spastic bowel, and morning sickness due to pregnancy all have diverse causes, but include common symptoms such as severe nausea and constipation, which are generally relieved by the use of cannabis.
The symptoms of ulcerative colitis were repeatedly relieved by smoked cannabis in a report published by the Annals of Internal Medicine in 1990.[1] Further research is limited, but anecdotal reports are plentiful.[2], [3]
